The Sales Report dashboard gives property owners and managers a clear view of revenue performance across all listings. Use it to track income, understand commission breakdowns, and export data for accounting.

Accessing the Sales Report

Navigate to the Analytics section from the main dashboard sidebar. The sales report loads with the current month selected by default.

Date Range Filtering

Use the date picker at the top of the report to adjust the time window:

  • Select a preset range (this week, this month, last month, this quarter, this year)
  • Choose a custom start and end date for specific reporting periods
  • The report updates immediately when you change the date range

All revenue figures, commission calculations, and listing breakdowns reflect the selected period.

Per-Listing Breakdown

The main table shows performance metrics for each of your listings individually:

  • Listing name and property identifier
  • Total revenue generated during the selected period
  • Number of bookings completed
  • Average booking value across all reservations
  • Commission amount calculated based on your commission rules

If you manage multiple properties, this breakdown helps you compare performance across your portfolio at a glance.

Revenue Analytics

The summary section at the top of the report provides aggregate metrics:

  • Gross revenue -- Total income before commissions and fees
  • Net revenue -- Revenue after platform and commission deductions
  • Commission total -- Sum of all commission charges for the period
  • Booking count -- Total number of completed reservations

These figures are calculated from the financial ledger, which records every transaction as an immutable entry for auditability.

Commission Calculations

HiLucy supports configurable commission rules per listing. The sales report automatically applies the correct commission rate to each booking and displays:

  • The commission percentage or flat rate applied
  • The calculated commission amount per booking
  • A running total of commissions for the selected date range

To adjust commission rules, go to Settings and update the financial configuration for the relevant listing.

Exporting Data

Click the Export CSV button to download the current report as a spreadsheet file. The export includes:

  • All visible columns from the per-listing breakdown
  • Date range metadata in the file header
  • Individual booking line items with their commission calculations

The CSV format is compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and standard accounting software. Use exports for monthly reconciliation, tax preparation, or sharing reports with property owners.

Tips

  • Compare month-over-month performance by running two date ranges and placing the CSV exports side by side
  • Use the per-listing view to identify your highest and lowest performing properties
  • Check the Reservation Manager if a booking appears missing from the report -- only completed reservations are counted in revenue calculations
