Rental Notifications
Rental notifications are the automated nudges sent to guests (and your team) about pickups, returns, and payments. The Settings tab lets you control which ones run, when, and through which channel.
What can be notified

Each event has its own toggle, channel choice, and timing.
Channels
Each notification can fire through:
- Email — uses your configured WP email sender
- WhatsApp — uses your connected WhatsApp Business number (requires the WhatsApp connector in Partners)
You can enable both channels for the same event — guest gets the message twice. Use sparingly; most owners pick one.
Timing options
For each event, pick when it fires (relative to the rental):

You can choose multiple timings per event — e.g. "day before" + "morning of" for pickup, so the guest gets two nudges.
Max advance days
A safeguard against premature reminders. If a rental is more than the configured max advance days (1-30) away, no reminders fire — they wait until the rental is closer.
This prevents reminders from going out months early for far-future bookings.
Edit notification settings
- Settings tab → Rental Notifications.
- For each event, toggle Enabled, pick channel(s), pick timing(s), set max-advance-days.
- Save. Changes apply to all future-fired notifications immediately.
Templates
Notification copy lives in WhatsApp Templates for WhatsApp and your WP email template settings for email. Edit there to personalise the message.
