Locations and Delivery Zones

HiLucy Team·Actualizado 2026-04-26·2 min read

A store in HiLucy is a physical pickup/dropoff base. Owners with one base have a single store; owners with multiple shops or vendors managing fleets across cities have many.

Add a location

  1. Settings tab → Locations → + Add location.
  2. Fill in:
    • Name — what staff and guests see (e.g. "Tulum Centro")
    • Address — full address used for guest directions and Google integration
    • City / State / Zip / Country
    • Phone / Email — staff contact for that location
    • Timezone — critical for notifications (see Rental Notifications)
  3. Save. The location is immediately selectable in the Store Switcher.

Edit a location

Click a row → Edit. All fields are mutable; saving updates new bookings only (existing bookings keep the location they were created with).

Delivery zones

Delivery zones define the geographic area you'll deliver to from this location. Without a zone, "delivery" addresses outside your operating area can be accepted accidentally.

  1. Open the location → Delivery zone.
  2. Add lat/lng vertices defining the polygon (typically 4-6 points).
  3. Optionally set a per-location delivery fee — this overrides any product-level delivery fee.
  4. Save.

When a guest enters a delivery address in Manual Rental Entry or on the rental product page, the address is geocoded and checked against your zone. If it falls outside, the guest sees a polite "delivery isn't available to that area" message.

Per-location delivery fees

If you have wildly different operating costs per area (e.g. island deliveries vs in-town), set the fee at the location level. Otherwise leave it blank and use product-level delivery pricing.

Deactivate a location

Don't delete — deactivate. Click the location → Deactivate. New bookings can't pick this location, but historical data stays intact.
