July 2026: New LUCY Number, Food & Drink Upgrades, and Hotel Rooms

July brought a wave of guest-facing upgrades across chat, dining, and hotels. Here's what's new.

New WhatsApp Concierge Number: LUCY

HiLucy's WhatsApp concierge now runs on a single unified number:

+1 (231) 444-5829 — save it as "LUCY"

The previous number has been retired. If you or your guests have the old contact saved, update it now. Everything else works exactly as before: guests message LUCY to chat, book, and order. See WhatsApp Setup.

Food & Drink, Rebuilt Around Outlets

Dining at your property is now organized by outlet (restaurant, bar, cafe, room service), and guests feel the difference everywhere:

  • Browse outlets in chat — Guests see each outlet with its photo, description, hours, and a live Open/Closed badge. Closed outlets stay visible but can't be ordered from, with a clear note about when they reopen.
  • Table reservations with live availability — Guests pick a party size, date, and time directly in chat. The time picker shows only genuinely bookable slots, checked against real capacity.
  • Transparent cart totals — The cart now itemizes the subtotal, gratuity (when the outlet requires it), and delivery fee, with a note when prices include tax. No surprises at confirmation.
  • Item photos — Menu items display their photos in the browsing view and the cart.

Hotel Rooms Setup

Hotel properties can now set up rooms as bookable inventory directly in the admin dashboard. A guided setup seeds your room types and rates, and the new Rooms tab on each listing lets you manage them afterward. This lays the foundation for direct room booking through HiLucy.

Your Conversation Follows You

Chat continuity at sign-in is here. If a guest starts chatting with Lucy before logging in, their conversation now follows them when they sign in — no lost context, no repeating themselves. It also survives signing out and back in on the same device.

Full-Screen Mobile Chat

The chat experience on mobile now uses the full screen, giving the conversation, menus, and cards more room to breathe.

For Property Teams

  • Outlet-centric F&B admin — Manage each outlet from its own overview, watch incoming orders on the new Kitchen screen, and handle table reservations from the dashboard.
  • Start Subscription — A new admin page lets operators start a property's HiLucy subscription with a card on file, right from the listing.
