Listing and Product Detail

After you pick a result from search, you land on the listing page — the property's profile. Pick a specific rental or experience and you go to the product page — where you configure dates, options, and book.

The listing page

Each listing has:

  • Photo gallery — drag-able / swipe-able with full-screen mode
  • Title and tagline — what the place is and the vibe
  • Description — the full pitch
  • Location — embedded map with the address
  • Products tab — every rental and experience this listing offers
  • Reviews and ratings — guest feedback
  • Lucy chat — opens a thread scoped to the listing (so Lucy knows the context)

You can spend time here without committing — Lucy chat works without booking, so you can ask questions like "is wifi included?" or "what's the pickup process?" and get listing-specific answers.

The rental product page

Click any rental in the Products tab to open its detail page. This is where you configure your booking.

Photo gallery

Multiple photos of the rental — for vehicles, that means walkarounds; for accommodations, multiple rooms.

Date and quantity picker

  • Start date / end date — pick the rental window
  • Quantity — how many units (default 1)

The picker shows availability hints — dates with no available units are visually disabled.

Add-ons

Below the dates, a list of optional add-ons (helmet, lock, delivery, insurance, etc.). Tick the ones you want; each is multiplied by quantity.

💡 Some add-ons are checkout-only — they don't appear on the product page but show up in the cart at checkout. The product page filters those out so you don't see redundancy.

Delivery (optional)

For delivery-eligible rentals:

  • Type your delivery address
  • Pick delivery start time and delivery end time (when you want the unit dropped off and picked up)
  • The system checks if your address is in the operator's delivery zone

If the address is outside the zone, you'll see a polite "delivery isn't available there" message — you can still pick Pickup instead.

Pickup time slot

If you're picking up rather than getting it delivered:

  • Pick a time slot in 30-minute increments
  • Default time is 5 PM (most common rental afternoon-pickup window)
  • The selected time goes into your booking confirmation so the operator's team is ready

Live estimate

As you change any input, the estimate panel updates in real time:

  • Base rate × days × quantity
  • Tier discount (if your rental length triggers one)
  • Date adjustments (if the dates overlap a high-/low-season window)
  • Add-ons
  • Delivery fee (if applicable)
  • Total

💡 The estimate is what you'll pay. It uses the same engine the operator uses for manual bookings, so what you see is final pre-tax. Taxes apply at checkout per local rules.

"Book now"

Click Book now to proceed. The Guest Portal hands off to the underlying WordPress site for checkout (where Stripe handles payment); the booking lands in the operator's Rental Manager.
